Trying to save herself and friends from all the suffering in the headlines and heartaches of real life, Sandy Garson meditates aloud on how the Buddhist teachings of her guru Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, the golden rosary of his Tibetan Kagyu lineage and the Buddha himself rise to the rescue.
Yours In The Dharma
"The Dharma has saved me from myself!" - Sandy Garson
The Buddha got it right. Dharma, as its purveyors promise, is good in the beginning, good in the middle and good in the end. It always turns out to be what the late Tibetan guru Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche called invincible sanity in a world gone mad.
So the Dharma is a sturdy bridge over the canyon culturally carved between appearance and reality, a ferry from heartache to happiness.
Thank you for coming along with me as I try to cross over.
By this merit may we all obtain omniscience
And defeat our enemy: wrongdoing.
